Dining/Foodwe went with six people and the frist night they broke us into two tables which didnt work for us, so we changed it but that gave us a time of 8:15 which was not good because all the shows started near those times. but the dinners where great and we had a good time. Stateroom Quality

  Carnival Cruise by
A Traveler from Maryland Sailing date: Jul 2010Pros: Outstanding food and service Cons: Taking your picture 4 times a day to make money This was our first cruise. I would highly recommend it to any one considering a cruise. The service and food were exceptional. The entertainment and activities were great. Hated to leave the ship at the end of the cruise. great times by
Jennifer C. from Miami, Fl Sailing date: Jul 2010Pros: always clean, staterooms nicely remodeled and clean, helpful staff Cons: I wish I had more food options. The ship was great. Price was economical, the ports were awesome. Everything seems to be recently modeled. The bathrooms, both public and in the staterooms, were always cleanly maintained. The staff was friendly and helpful at all times. Ship Quality
Dining/FoodThe food was good, has improved since my last cruise on Carnival back in 2005. The only thing I wished for were more options and variety. Stateroom Quality

Cozumel, MexicoMexico was gorgeous. It was safe and entertaining. I visited the Mayan Ruins in Tulum which was worth every minute. Absolutely gorgeous and interesting.
Don't Miss: The Mayan Ruins in Tulum Key West, FloridaKey West was beautiful. There are a variety of things to see and do, but also great if you want to do nothing but walk around and shop or sit beside the ocean.

  OUR FIST CRUISE by
Cecelia T, from Chicago, Illinois Sailing date: Jun 2010Pros: THE SITE Cons: I GAINED WEIGHT The ship was very nice, clean, fun and yes I would do it again. Ship QualityThis part was fine. I'm directionly challenged. But, the staff was very nice and getting me to the correct location. Dining/FoodThis was the best. Our table was set-up with with couples we didn't know, who turned out to be people we hung out with and are keeping in contact with off the ship. Stateroom Quality
Ship Staff Quality
Entertainment & ActivitiesWe saw the song and dance show that was great and we saw a stand up comedian, who was OK, the only thing was it wasn't enough seats to see the comdian and I got tired of standing and left to do other things. Children's ProgramsWe had no children with us. But, next time we will.

Nassau, BahamasWe took a tour of the island from one of the vendors not related to the ship and it was great. We saw how various people lived, some historical sites and he took us to a restuarant and we tried counch(spelling may be wrong) it the shell fish, native to the island.

Not that good of an experience by
yaneury E. from Miami, Fl Sailing date: May 2010Pros: room service and cleaning Cons: the food, and some trouble that we have when we went to eat at the dining room and the manager didn't let us eat and also there no pool or atractions for the kids other than the camp. The were flyes at the buffet and the kids were trying to kill them. This was my first time in a cruise and it wasn't that good, it wasn't what i was expecting.. Ship Quality
Dining/FoodThe first day we wait at the dining table for an hour and half for the food, and the last day the manager didn't let us eat at the dining room Stateroom Quality
Ship Staff Qualitywhen we were eating at the buffet we ask for a coke cause we buy the cup and and employee told us to get it our self. Not good at all but that was the only one. Entertainment & Activities

  Never back with Carnival by
Anthony Siberon from Miami, Fl. Sailing date: May 2010Pros: The crowd was great. Cons: The customer service The first night at the main dinning me and my family had to wait for 1 hour and a half to received the food because the kitchen was having problems, and then we went late 15 minutes on Sunday and they didn't wanted to let us eat at the dinning because we were late and the sat other family in our table. saturday morning we went to the breakfast and the dinning buffet was full of flies that was a couple of kids killing the flies with their sandals. the slides for the kids were closed almost all weekend the only day was open almost full day they had to closed for a private party. this ship doesn't have a pool for little kids that's why the jacuzzies were always full of kids because was the only place the little kids had. Many times at the buffet i asked the servers for drinks and they never bring it to us and also at the pool. This is not my first time at a cruise with Carnival and I been once before at Royal Caribbean which is better 100 times. never back to Carnival. Ship Quality

  Extremely Worthwhile Cruise Vacation! by
H. Chen from Boston, MA, USA Sailing date: Apr 2010Pros: Great restaurants and delicious foods Cons: No Modern Public Transportation in Cozumel, Mexico We absolutely enjoyed the cruise ship Carnival Imagination! Our two kids age 11 and 7, my husband and I had a great time on the cruise and we re-visited Key West, Florida (our first visit was in 1994). For those who do not plan to do the snorkeling and the off shore water sports, Cozumel, Mexico could be a boring place filling with the Wal-Mart similar things with even cheaper prices though. Still, it is not bad at all for the real shoppers. As far as for the sightseeing, Bermuda has a lot better, much organized city planning and a lot more attractive approachable ocean views and the overall appearance.
Thank Heaven, the Carnival Imagination and the Carnival Cruise Lines are well prepared for the onboard entertainments in almost every aspect ! Otherwise the long expecting family vacation would be a big disappointment.
Ship QualityCarnival Imagination is shiny, grand and clean! Dining/FoodWe enjoyed the delicious foods of all varieties!
We love the Spirit dining room and the Pride dining room.
The nicely freshly prepared foods with high quality ingredients even the decorative herbs are vividly realistic. Amazing!
Stateroom QualityStateroom is quite comfortable and clean. Housekeeping staff worked very hard to the level of perfection.
Ship Staff QualityAll of them are very friendly and helpful. It is almost surreal to see so many good people working around you!
Entertainment & ActivitiesWe love the entertainment programs every night! We arrive the theatre slightly early to get the best seats in the house. The musical shows are fantastic! The cruise director and the talk show performances are very funny with the decent humors. There is also a small live band of eight people or so doing a great job.
Children's ProgramsActivities for the young teens can use a bit of improvement instead of treating them similar to the preschoolers. Thanks! 4 out of 4 people found this review helpful.

First time cruising with kids by
A Traveler from Pembroke Pines, FL Sailing date: Apr 2010Pros: Some time to relax/gamble/drink without worries Cons: Camp was closed for many hours when we were at sea The ship was oveall very clean, and staff attepted to keep it clean throughout the cruise, cleaning around the buffets and the restaurants aswell as rooms, and public areas. We were happy to have time to have the kids at kids camp where they had fun, but they did promise them special treats on the descriptions the parents got, like sno-cones at the party one night never happened, which they were disappointed about, and my 4 year old said he had to ask for water to drink many times during the 3 hours we left him, and when we picked him up he was so thirsty! So there are too many kids and not enough counselors in the camp to suffice the needs. Ship Qualitylayout was ok, clean, ships decor is a bit outdated Dining/Foodfood was not always fresh, and was simliar at the buffet everyday on a short cruise Stateroom Qualitya little outdated Ship Staff Qualityvey friendly to needs except when we were late to our dinner seating Entertainment & Activitiesdid not like the comedian on sat night, would have like more than one entertainment show, sun nights show was nice Children's ProgramsMy son had to ask for water many times while he was there, and the staff seemed to busy to give it to him he said they said it was coming, but or 3 hours he was there, and whn I picked him up he was very thirsty. It seemed there was not enough staff for the 3-5 yr old group. My daugthers group was the 6-8 year old group and was promisd sno-cones one night atthe part which never happened (it even was listed on the itenerary the parents got) I addresed my concerned ith the camp director, and she seemed vey rude and did not ty to fix the problems, instead just said there was water there. 2 out of 2 people found this review helpful.

  My First Cruise by
Vanessa C from Columbus, OH Sailing date: Mar 2010Pros: Very nice room. Clean environment. Desserts and formal dining were superb. Cons: Tacky decorations. Too crowded. Not enought public bathrooms. The secretive fees for missing beach towels ($22) and for the soda pass were deplorable. I was provided a summary of my purchases which was accurate and the money was withdrawn the following Monday. However, there are mysteriously 2 items still pending in my transactions as if Carnival is still putting a hold on my account? Tory the cruise director was irritating. There should be more hottubs with less bratty kids in them.Longer stay in Key West please. Ship QualityMORE CLOCKS!!!! More public bathrooms. Overall, very clean ship. My room was lovely. I recommend coordinating the carpet with the wallpaper. It's extremely Cheap-Vegas looking. Unfortunate cigarette smell thru many hallways but some people just refuse to follow rules. Dining/FoodFood was better than expected. Everyone agreed, even the seasoned cruisers. They should provide SLICED bread to the sandwich-makers bc the deli line was too long. Melting Cake was delicious, as was the mushroom pizza and the cheesecake. Stateroom QualityWonderful sized room! I was in R3 - Riveria. I would REALLY appreciate a weather channel that coordinates to our journey? and also a channel that will at least tell you the time. Excellent bedding. Our bathroom was really nice. Ship Staff QualityThe staff was mostly friendly except for the Philippino man whom ignored me when I asked the time. Entertainment & ActivitiesCheesy. 1 out of 1 people found this review helpful.

  A relaxing Cruise! by
A Traveler from Grand Rapids, MI Sailing date: Mar 2010Pros: The Destinations Cons: The timing the ship had a hard time keeping on time with almost everything The ship seemed to be an older one, the engine was loud and we seemed to have a hard time getting to our destinations on time, it could have been due to rougher waters I am not sure. Ship QualityThey did recently redo a lot of things on the ship, new water slides, golfing course, etc. they were nice. Very clean ship constantly saw someon cleaning something. Dining/FoodI enjoyed the food as I usually do on the carnival ships, however they have changed the menu some. I am used to choosing an appetizer, salad and main entree. Now they want you to choose a salad or an appetizer, then a main entree. It is difficult to do because they still offer a large number of items to choose from. Love the souffle. Stateroom QualityHave been on other cruise lines with larger state rooms, not a bad size though. Room was cleaned very well and always enjoy the carnival animals. Ship Staff QualityStaff was very helpful with a couple of things that we needed. Always cordial and willing to help! Entertainment & ActivitiesDid not really like the entertainment on this trip, the shows were somewhat disjointed. Seemed like songs just thrown together. The costumes left little to the imagination and were not family friendly. The variety show was kind of boring. The comedy show was simply not funny. 0 out of 2 people found this review helpful.
