A Fun time on a Fun ship by
Linda B from Staten Island, New York Sailing date: Jul 2010Pros: Our stateroom was clean and well serviced and the staff friendly and helpful Cons: The shore excursion staff wasnt quite helpful They told us we had to leave the ship at 9:30 to go to Atlantis. WE had an 11:20 appointment. We ended up sitting around for 2 hours. We could have shopped and gone there later. They need to explain timing to people. No need to get there so early. Everyone was helpful and friendly all over the ship. The staff called you by name so that yiou felt as if you were special. The stateroom was clean and well serviced fregquently. The Fun staff were extremely funny and kept you entertained. The band named "Music Unlimited" were incredible. They played every decade and were wonderful. They had the place jumping every night at Frankie and Johnny's. The shows were very fantastic. The singers and dancers were Broadway quality. I loved the comedians and especially the Female singer/ impersonator. The Beatles show was great. The sets and costumes were wonderful too.
The food was delicious. I enjoyed both the buffet and the dining room sit down meals. The waiter, Alex, was familiar with my dietary needs and made sure that my meals were meeting my needs.
I would highly recommend a cruise on the Miracle.... Ship Quality

Grand Turk IslandGrand Turk Island is one of the most beautiful places that I have ever seen in my life....I highly recommend going there. We did the stingray swim and it was a blast.
Half Moon Cay, Bahamas (Private Island)The beach is one of the best in the world. The beach has the softest sand I have ever seen. The water is beautiful blue and yet crystal clear.
Don't Miss: Definitely spend time at the beach. The BBQ is fantastic too. Nassau, BahamasHad a greaat time shopping at the straw market and the other big name stores. Make sure to buy liquor....it is incredibly cheap.
Don't Miss: You should definitely do the dolphin swim at Atlantis...it is incredible. 0 out of 0 people found this review helpful.

  A good Cruise by
James S. from New York Sailing date: May 2010Pros: Food Cons: Service It was a nice experience but did not exceeded our expectations. Food was good, we got a great server for dinner, but the staff during lunch or breakfast did a poor job in service and attitude. The buffet was closed during the hours of 3 to 5 pm, and there was nothing to eat but hamburgers that by the way were horrible, dry and overcooked chicken fingers and salad that look not appealing or fresh, same thing at night after 10 pm nothing to eat. I guess we are use to 24 7 in other cruises before. I missed the friendliness in the majority of the staff. The cruise itself did not have life or fun the shows were pretty bad. The layout of the Buffet was horrible everything was every where, there was no order. Ship QualityDecor was beautiful. Dining/Food

Amazing cruise! Amazing priceline deal! by
Maria A from Boston, MA Sailing date: May 2010Pros: Leaving from NYC. Staying at a 4 star hotel for FREE the night before. Cruising to the Bahamas was fantastic! Cons: I can't say a bad thing about the entire experience. This was my 3rd time on the Carnival Miracle and I absolutely LOVE this ship! It is beautiful, the crew is fantastic, it's immaculate and the 8 day cruise everything you would want it to be. The ship leave right from the heart of midtown Manhattan, and the pier is so easy to get to. We park our car at the pier and walk right onto the ship within an hour's time. Embarkation is swift and easy, and cabins are always ready by 1:30. There is nothing like the sight of leaving on a cruise and seeing the entire New York City skyline as well as "Lady Liberty". There is nothing bad I can say about this ship. They do everything right. I have been on 10 cruises, but Carnival is the best. Ship QualityAmazingly clean ship. Everything is sparkling and looks as new now as it did 4 years ago when I first cruised on her. It's easy to find your way around and you don;t run into any "dead ends" like other ships. Dining/FoodFood was fantastic! All you can eat all the time. The dining room is a bit garish in decor, but after a while it becomes cozy. Stateroom QualityWe always get a balcony, and the size and comfort are great. There is plenty of storage, and plenty of room under the beds to store even the biggest suit cases. The beds and pillows the most comfortable on the high seas. No one has a more comfortable bed than Carnival, and I've cruised every line! Ship Staff QualityThe crew is great They make a point of remembering your name and really personalizing your cruise experience. Entertainment & ActivitiesLots of shows (some of them lame, some of them great). Lots of trivia games and chances to win Carnival's "ship on a stick". Bingo was reasonable at $20 for 3 to 5 games. Some ships charge up to $40. The casino is fun, but to tell you the truth they have the same exact games as they did 4 years ago. It's time to change them

Grand Turk IslandVery pretty island, but the beach is VERY rocky, so bring water shoes or you'll never make it into the water.
Half Moon Cay, Bahamas (Private Island)AMAZING!! Clear turquoise water that was 85 degrees. Soft sand, lots of FREE beach chairs and a great BBQ on the beach for everyone. You do have to tender into this port, but it only takes 5 minutes and it's a beautiful ride.
Nassau, BahamasShopping right at the port, but some parts are kinda seedy. We paid $20 each to get a tour of the island and it was worth $100 each! We saw everything from the ghetto to a tour of Atlantis Resort. Highly recommend it!

  A fun cruise by
Julie L. from Long Island, NY Sailing date: Mar 2010Pros: The ports of call were very different from other cruises I've been on (Panama, Costa Rica and Belize). Dinners in Bacchus Dining Room were great. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Cons: The food on the Lido Deck. Except for the last few days, the ship was constantly rocking from side to side. Overall the ship had good food, lots of fun activities, and was clean. Ship QualityThe ship was always clean. The staff was always working hard to keep it that way. It was fairly easy to find the different areas of the ship. Dining/FoodThe food at Bacchus was excellent. There was always a good variety and the food was always good. However, the food on the Lido Deck (Buffet style) wasn't that great. While there was a lot of variety, the quality of food was just average. Stateroom QualityOur stateroom (6333 - aft view) was always clean and comfortable. However, there were times where you could feel the engine/propeller shaking the room/bed a bit. Ship Staff QualityThe ship staff was always friendly. Everyone on the ship always made an effort to say "hi" as you walked by. Entertainment & ActivitiesEach day there were tons of activities to partake in. I recommend trying some things you normally wouldn't think about doing. 0 out of 0 people found this review helpful.

  Sports Fans by
John S. from Columbia, South Carolina Sailing date: Dec 2009Pros: Our cabin steward, dining waiters, and cocktail waitress were the best we have had Cons: No ESPN in your cabin(during football bowl season) The ship cruised very well. Captain and staff ran the boat well. The administration of the ship was not well run. The service staff could not answer questions and there was no personnel to talk about future cruises, credit for past cruises, etc.
We were most upset with NO ESPN in our cabins... The only two places to watch SPORTS was in the cigar bar (Maquires) or aft on lido deck(no Sound) The bar would have been wonderful except for the cigar smoke(please!) We would have had a couple of beers in our cabin, did not in the bar.
Ship QualityIt is a beautiful ship. Well decorated and maintained Dining/FoodFood was very good. Not the best we have had... Our waiters made it wonderful.. The steakhouse on board was exceptional. (Service and quality of food) Stateroom QualityOur stateroom and the stewards who took care of us were great. Ship Staff QualityAside from those individual that took care of us the remainder of the staff gave the impression they wished they were somewhere else. Dishes never picked up on Lido deck, and during lunch in restaurant. Entertainment & ActivitiesShow were outstanding. Professional and entertaining. Second best part of trip 1 out of 1 people found this review helpful.

my favorite ship in the carnival fleet by
A Traveler from New york Sailing date: Jul 2009Pros: Ship Layout and design, crew was great and knew you by name, shore excursions were great and easy to book Cons: Food wasn't the best On the first night on the captains dinner, the Captain informed us that the Carnival Miracle is the number one ship in the Carnival fleet. He also told us that the fda score, which is how clean the ship in, scored 100%.As we spent our cruise this really was evident. There were endless amount of activities for my son and many things that my mother was able to do Ship QualityYou could tell how well the builders of this ship payed attention to detail Dining/FoodCould be better, buffet was great Stateroom QualityMy home away from home Ship Staff Qualityknew us by name Entertainment & Activities

The ship was incrediable. It was majestic. Everyone was so happy and helpful. The staff would greet you everytime they passed you. They were so helpful with our four kids ages 7years to 17 years. We all loved it!! Ship QualityThe ship was totally booked but, didn't feel crowded. Dining/FoodThe dinning room staff was so much fun. Stateroom QualityLoved the bedding and our Cabin steward was so polite. Ship Staff QualityThe photo department was closed and I needed a camera for my son for christmas the next day. Loved this ship! by
A Traveler from Smithfield, RI Sailing date: Dec 2008Pros: Beautiful ship, wonderful service, respectful crew, great food. Cons: Change of itinery. The Miracle is a beautiful ship. The crew was constantly cleaning everything from top to bottom. No dust or dirt here! We never felt confined. Our balcony rooms were roomy
and always immaculate. The service was as wonderful as the food. Anyone who
found fault with the dining room food or the buffet should just stay home. We went to
all the shows and enjoyed them. We are booking another cruise on the Miracle for next
year.
Ship QualityThe crew cleaned the ship from top to bottom every day. Very convenient layout.
Beautiful theme. Loved the size of the ship. Smooth sailing all 8 days. Wonderful. Dining/FoodThe most delicious foods all 4 of us have had. Immaculate dining room. Polite, respectful
waiters who knew our names. Early dining was perfect for us. We lunched at the great
deli every day. Such a variety! Hard to make choices! Excellent desserts. Stateroom QualityImmaculate, roomy and bright balcony room. The towel animals were so cute. It is
funny to see a monkey hanging on the bureau and a bird on the window. Great location in the middle of the ship. We did not have to walk a great distance for anything. Ship Staff QualityRoom steward was wonderful and couldn't do enough for us. Very sweet young woman.
Waiter aimed to please. You will be lucky to have Waylon serve you. Entertainment & ActivitiesThere was much to do for any age. With our hectic lifesyles, we preferred to sit by
the pool sipping drinks and relaxing. 2 out of 2 people found this review helpful.
